Perinatal Support
Juno Perinatal Mental Health Support
What is it?
- Juno offers support to mums who might be struggling with perinatal mental health difficulties. It is run by mums who have personal experience of this.
Who is it for?
- Juno welcomes ladies who require support, pre or postnatally.
What do they offer?
- In Midlothian, a group runs 10am-11am, Tuesdays term time at the Link in Loanhead. It's free and tea/coffees are offered. Groups are facilitated by peer supporters, who have lived experience of emotional difficulties either when they were pregnant or after giving birth. It is advertised as a playgroup to try and encourage women who may be concerned about coming to a 'support group'. Women can share as much or as little as they choose.
How can people access it?
- Interested women can get in touch via the Facebook page or email.
