We currently run a 50/50 service just now. Our appointments are released at 08:30am each day. 50% of appointments are in person and 50% of appointments are telephone.

As we try and help guide every person to the right team member to help, our team will ask you a series of questions, including what the problem is, who you might have been dealing with already to help manage it, and how long it has been going on for, for example. 

We have a number of team members our reception staff can guide you to - for instance, we now have a physiotherapist who can directly deal with many muscular problems, as well as a dedicated pharmacy team. This is all in addition to our doctors and nurses. There more you can tell us, the more helpful it is. 

We are a training practice so may ask you to see/speak to one of our trainees. They record some consultations for training purposes but this would be agreed up front.


In addition to our core service , we  have early morning appointments on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7am which are used by our team to manage patients with chronic diseases.


Don't be late!

Please try to be on time for your appointment. If you are late you may have to rearrange your appointment.



If you need an interpreter please let the reception staff know when phoning.


Let us know if you can't make it

If you need to cancel let us know so we can offer the time to someone else. If you don't tell us, and don't attend a number of times, we may remove you from the practice list.

Home Visits


All house visit requests in the current COVID pandemic are very closely managed.


If you think you are too ill to come to the practice, please phone us to discuss the appropriate response. This is best done first thing in the morning. It may well be that we contact another service to assist you, and in some cases, we have phoned 999 on behalf of patients, when we have thought it necessary.


If we can see you at the practice, we have the best facilities available to help you. We have disabled parking spaces by the back door, and you don't need a disabled badge to use these if you are unwell.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse (district nurse) if you are referred by your GP.
